LVNA Meetings
LVNA.NET Home : The LVNA : Meetings

The LVNA holds two kinds of meetings: General Meetings and Board Meetings. Both meetings are usually held once each month.

General Meetings

General Meetings are open to all Lakewood Village residents, and guests that are invited by LVNA officials. All residents are encouraged to attend so that they can meet their neighbors, learn about upcoming events or topics of special interest to our community, have a chance to voice your concerns and opinions, and help build a better neighborhood. Children are welcome.

General Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month, starting at 7:00pm, and as a goal, ending at 8:00pm. Most meetings are held at Fairwood School,  Lakewood School, or the Lakewood Park Building. Check the Calendar for the specific date and place of the next meeting. General Meetings are also announced in each issue of The LVNA Villager.

Board Meetings

Board Meetings are also open to all Lakewood Village residents, and guests that are invited by LVNA officials. Board Meetings are usually held in someone’s home, and so you must contact the LVNA President before attending. The schedule for Board Meetings is more variable than that of General Meetings, so check the Calendar to find out when the next meeting is scheduled.

Special Meetings

Special Meetings can be called by Board Members or residents, and are open to all residents and invited guests. The process for calling a Special Meeting is described in the By-Laws. For more information, contact the LVNA President.
